We Can Show Your Home

June20

If you need us to show your home to a buyer without an agent, or think we might do a better job if we show your home together with you, we have a full team of buyer agents who can show your home.

You will owe us the same commission that you would pay another agent. Worse case scenario would be the money that you paid upfront, the .0034 at the closing and the buyer’s agent commission as we would not show your home to a buyer that has an agent.

If you want us to show your home, go to www.TipsandForms.com and get the Show My Home form from the form section.

If you have more questions about how this works, write us at help@duffyrealtyofatlanta.com

Raise The Buyer’s Agent Commission BEFORE You Lower The Price…

June16

If you are thinking about lowering your price, you may want to consider raising the buyer’s agent commission first. In most cases the commission raise will cost you far less than the lowering of the price.

See www.TipsandForms.com for more strategies before you lower the price.

What Smell is the Best Smell To Have In Your Home?

June16

Buyers report that they like Green Apple over any other scent. But, they report that they prefer it not to be overwhelming.

They also report that jazz music is the preferred music for a showing.

Interest Rates Rise and Fall Again!

June16

Interest rates have taken a hike in the last few weeks at the tune of 1%, but they have fallen again today at least 1/2 of 1%. The buyers that are calling are freaked out. They don’t know what to do. A interest rate hike of such dramatic porportions throws buyers out of a mortgage payment that they have been budgeting.

Just be patient with these confused buyers. They are trying to figure out what to do!

Will The Words “Foreclosure” Sell a Home?

June16

I have had my own home that is a 600K listing in Milton on the market for 1 year. Today I decided to try something. This comes partially because I want to see what this will do for you guys and I want to see if I can sell this house in a quick period of time if I add the words to the listing that seems to cause a frenzy. I lowered my listing to 525K and added the words Foreclosure to my listing as well as AS IS. I also lowered the commission to 2.5% from 4%.

I will keep you updated on the activity.

I just seem to hear from a lot of buyers that they only want a “deal”. The question is, what is a deal? No one really seems to have an answer to that?
