2009 Brings A “Buzzzzz” For Duffy Sellers

Starting January 2009, Duffy Realty will heavily promote a seminar and open house weekend at the end of each month to buyers on air, in newspapers and on our websites. You will be able to hold your home open knowing that hundreds of other Duffy sellers will be doing the same. We will also offer our Staging seminar at the same time.

Why is it that the media always focuses on doom & gloom? Do they think that’s what sells? I don’t. In fact, over the past few months, I’ve avoided watching the news as much as possible, at the suggestion of Rhonda who seems to know what is better for all of us in the grand scheme of things. I found myself worrying over things beyond my control. Gas prices through the roof, stocks on a downward spiral & it seemed everyone was in foreclosure. Actually, 97% (Yes, 97%) of consumers pay their mortgages, high gas prices were short lived (thank goodness; it’s now cheaper than I can remember for a long time) & the stock market, a risk anyway, has a way of working itself out over time.
